Shauna is a mother of four, a basketball enthusiast, an avid reader, and a fitness nerd. Her philosophy for health and wellness is simple. Work hard. Work smart. Train to live life to the fullest. Shauna is a proponent for intuitive training—teaching individuals to become experts on their own body. She firmly believes there is an athlete in each of us and when we connect with it through training and nutrition, we will feel capable, confident, and excited about all aspects of life.
Shauna’s experience with motherhood saw her in a similar place she often sees her clients struggling to get out of. Weight gain, post-partum depression, not feeling connected with one’s body, tired, and not knowing how to change any of it. Her personal fitness journey and experiences have helped her evolve as a trainer—fortifying her expertise in motherhood training. Shauna is passionate about helping women feel confident with their current body shape, helping them not to focus on the body they had pre-pregnancy; pre-menopause; pre-weight gain, rather, she focuses on a what can be done with what you’ve got.
Shauna specialized in HIIT, metabolic resistance training, and has worked with a wide variety of different clients. She loves the way strength training empowers people, and she knows that being strong translates to many other aspects of life. Her ideal client is simple—anyone willing to explore those frontiers with her.
