Fitness has been a part of John Armerding’s for as long as he can remember. From a young age John immersed myself in a variety of sports. It started with gymnastics as a youth, and was followed by baseball and basketball competitively throughout high school. That foundation is what eventually led him to weight lifting in college. What started out as a way to stay active and improve his physique, became his passion; realization; and commitment to a healthier, more fit lifestyle.
Throughout college John continued to lift weights. He also began learning and exploring health and fitness as a way of reaching new goals and striking a healthful balance in his life. This lifestyle encompassed not only aerobic exercise and weight lifting but a whole body fitness routine that continues to keep him healthy and strong to this day.
Ultimately, his passion for this lifestyle is what led John to personal training as a career. John believes that we’re all athletes, we’re just functioning at different levels. As he has grown as a trainer and worked with a variety of clients his process has continued to evolve. That increased knowledge allows him to address a greater variety of personal fitness needs. Yet, whether he’s working with a client who is overcoming an injury or training someone that’s looking to complete a marathon, we train as athletes with a focus on corrective exercises.
As a personal trainer, John currently works with a diverse clientele that represent many different levels of fitness. His workouts are planned around sensible goals to meet the needs of the individual client. This enables him to tailor each workout and maximize their potential.
