Brittany Ellingsen played tennis growing up, eventually competing at a collegiate level. Her long history involvement with organized sports fostered a deep love for fitness. She has always enjoyed participating in a variety of sports for fun but her main focus was always tennis. With the opportunities she had playing a sport she’d invested so much time into, she was able to win a 4A State Championship her senior year at Skyview High School and went on to play tennis for Eastern Washington University.
This deep love for athletics is what pointed her to the fitness industry. Inspired by the help she received from high school trainers and college strength coaches, it drove her to want to do the same. She received a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University during which she completed an internship during senior year in the university’s strength and conditioning facility. During this time she worked with many collegiate athletes and gained experience and knowledge from working with the strength and conditioning staff.
Brittany is currently striving to inspire as many people as possible by providing similar help and inspiration that she received through her years as an athlete. She is constantly furthering her education as the fitness industry is constantly evolving. Whether you need help with general fitness or have sport specific goals, Brittany is a great resource.
